About Trad-AI

Trad-AI is an online translation tool designed for professional translators who need fast file translation and a TMX memory file immediately on output. The models are provided entirely via your own OpenAI API key — we don’t run, train, or host models ourselves.

How it works

  1. Upload a DOCX, PPTX, PDF, or XLSX file.
  2. Click Translate.
  3. Download:
    • the translated file, and/or
    • the TMX translation memory file.

You can import the TMX directly into your CAT tool to pre-translate (“pre-translate from TM”) and then perform MT post-editing in your usual environment.

What Trad-AI is (and is not)

  • It is a simple interface that lets you use OpenAI models for document translation while keeping full control of your API usage.
  • It is not a custom MT engine, proprietary model, or training platform — we do not store your data or adapt models on your content.
